The Midhurst Green Volunteers are back in the village tomorrow, Saturday 4th September, meeting from 8am at the corner of Hollist Lane near Canada Grove and working on the footpath that starts at the top of Upperfield. If you join a little later then please go straight to the footpath! The session is usually finished by 10.30.
Last week the lack of volunteers from the village was really disappointing and it’s meant that unless we up our game and join in with this amazing group then we are unlikely to see as many, if any, sessions in Easebourne after the current schedule ends in December.
This would be a massive blow to the appearance of the village, as the volunteers keep areas including High Path, Easebourne Lane, Dodsley Lane, Wheelbarrow Castle and many more areas in-between looking as smart as possible. This is all work that would not be carried out by Chichester District Council as funding and staff cuts do not allow.
If you can spare a few hours to help ensure your village carries on looking it’s best, please come along and join in. All equipment is provided, just bring your own gloves!
