The Parish Council are very excited to announce that work will begin at the end of April to create natural tiered seating within the grass bank facing The Roundhouse in Easebourne Park.
A local groundworks company will construct 4 tiers either side of a new central set of steps, cut out of the bank and supported by oak sleepers. A low fence will surround the top and outer sides of the tiers.
This project has been a Parish Council plan for a while and now that more and more people use the Park, and following the success of recent events in The Roundhouse, we feel that now is the time to implement the plan.
The cost of this project will be entirely met by recent grant bids won by the Council.
