Below is information received by Network Rail regarding up coming line closures that might affect your journeys.
| “We are writing to let you know that 5-days of consecutive work will begin between Guildford and Petersfield in late July. We’ll be continuing with our preparatory work for the Farncombe to Petersfield resignalling scheme, installing power cables at Haslemere and Farncombe (with accompanying buildings for signalling and electrical equipment) and improving the safety of level crossings at several locations including a level crossing upgrade at Sheet.
While the railway is closed, we will take the opportunity to complete some minor routine works such as:
- Track maintenance along the stretch of the closed line
- Track renewal at Haslemere station
- Vegetation work between Farncombe and Witley
- Vegetation, clearance and drainage works between Grayswood and Haslemere”
