Christmas arrives at Easebourne Park, with successful carol concert
Christmas arrived early at Easebourne Park this weekend, with a packed out Carols in the Park event.
The Parish Council once again teamed up with Easebourne Primary School PTA to bring another successful collaborative event to our Parish. With performances from Petworth Choir and children from the School, the atmosphere under the lights was beautiful (and dry, which was a Christmas miracle given the soaking we have had over the past few weeks!). Some of the children visited “Farmer Christmas” in his tractor and trailer grotto and everyone enjoyed mince pies, hot chocolate and mulled wine. There was even a Christmas Pony on hand to greet the children while they queued for the grotto. We finished off the afternoon with some real belters that everyone could join in with and an exciting raffle.
Thanks must go out to all of the volunteers who made the event possible, the Choir, all of the sponsors and everyone who turned out to support this pilot event. All proceeds will go to the PTA, to put towards their projects within the Primary School this academic year.
