Various works will be taking place in Easebourne Park over the next few days. On Wednesday 27th a team of volunteers from West Sussex County Council will be installing a handrail for us alongside the recently created steps, leading from the car park to the Park, close to the slide.
Then on Friday 1st March work will be taking place around the drainage pond in Easebourne Park to prepare it for the perimeter planting. At the same time a team of volunteers will be planting an additional 200 wild heathers in the 2 borders close to the bottom of the main footpath slope. If you have time on Friday to help with the planting, please get in touch with our Parish Clerk!
Finally, we will be trialling alternative types of stone on 2 short lengths of the path as part of our process to evaluate a longer term surface that will hopefully then be installed if our Crowdfunding campaign is successful. With only just over a month to go on the campaign, we really need you help to make the path upgrade a reality – details of how you can pledge are on the link above.
