We are pleased to confirm that the redundant telephone kiosk has now been adopted by the Parish Council as a heritage asset. It has been completely re-painted and refurbished, and, thanks to the South East Coast Ambulance Service, now contains a life-saving defibrillator.

In the event of a relevant incident, when dialling 999, the caller will be directed to the defibrillator which can then be used easily following the verbal instructions. These life-saving defibrillators are appearing in many locations, including the Cowdray Golf Club and Riverbank Medical Centre, but the Dodsley Lane equipment is the only one available 24 hours a day.
