Visitors to Easebourne Park today may have noticed a couple of new additions! Volunteers installed 2 new picnic benches yesterday to compliment those we already have. These larger square benches will be great for families and we’re aiming to get a central hole added so you can even bring your own parasol for shade! The bench close to Toddler Towers has also been designed to be accessible for wheelchair visitors.
We’ve also now got our own metal BBQ bench, designed to be used with disposable BBQs and even with it’s own metal lined bin so you can safely dispose of the ashes.
The last addition before the summer will be a large community noticeboard, which should be installed by the end of this month. As well as Parish Council notices, there will be a whole side of the board dedicated to your own notices, about events you might be organising (socially distanced of course), village activities or even lost and found.
We really hope that we can get back to enjoying every aspect of the Park as soon as possible, but in the meantime please remember that social distances guidelines still apply within the Park and that the play equipment is out of bounds.
A lot of people give up a lot of their time to continue to make Easebourne Park a fantastic space for the whole community to enjoy, so please also remember to clear up after your pet and either put your rubbish in one of the bins provided or take it with you!
