Midhurst Green Volunteers come to Easebourne!

The Midhurst Green Volunteers are a small group of volunteers who help keep excess vegetation at bay around the town. The team work independently of, but in cooperation with, the Midhurst Town Council and Chichester District Council to improve access for people.

The team has lots of equipment to help with weeding, mowing and cutting tasks, thanks to the contribution of local sponsors.

The Parish Council is delighted that the green volunteers have agreed to extend their services to Easebourne BUT we need volunteers to help with the tasks in both Easebourne and Midhurst – things such as keeping High Path clear of brambles and spreading hedgerows, keeping verges trimmed, cleaning bus shelters etc.

The first confirmed date is Saturday 7th December at 8.30am. If anyone can lend a hand for a couple of hours either then or at a future date please contact the Parish Council at parishclerk@easebourne.org. You can find out more about the green volunteers by visiting their website www.midhurstgreenvolunteers.org.uk
