Midhurst & District swimming club

Midhurst Swimming Club is a local friendly swimming club for children of all
ages and abilities. Now in its 51st year, it has been responsible for
teaching hundreds of children around Midhurst to swim. This is not a
‘competitive’, ‘pushy’ swim club. Our ethos is one of enjoyment, fun,
learning in a safe and friendly environment. We love seeing children’s
confidence grow in the water whilst having fun with their friends.  In
addition to learning to swim, we believe the benefit the children enjoy from
spending time with their friends, independent of their parents and school
environment, is immeasurable.

• Thursday evenings, 6.30pm to 8.30pm. 10 swims per school term
• 1 full hour swimming at Haslemere. Leisure Centre
• Coach transport to and from Midhurst Bus station, Easebourne and Fernhurst
(included in fees)
• Fees from January 2018– £85 per term with £15 annual insurance fee
• Swim England Insured and affiliated.
• Children supervised throughout by parents (parents asked to help on 1 or 2
evenings per term) and fully qualified swim teachers
• We welcome enquiries from parents for children of school age, or
approaching school age, and run a waiting-list if we are over subscribed
• For more details contact Kathryn Davies on 07880 646464 or

White Horse Shooting Club

The White Horse Shooting Club was founded in the summer of 2015 to facilitate Clay Pigeon shooting events and competitions for patrons of the White Horse. The club meets once a month over a 9 month season. Details can be found in the White Horse pub or on their website www.whitehorseeasebourne.co.uk/whsc

Easebourne Garden and Allotment Society

The Society is a friendly place for local gardeners – casual, professional or armchair gardeners – to meet for talks, demonstrations and outings. Every year we have a big plant sale in May and a Produce Show in August. We are affiliated with the Royal Horticultural Society and members receive a discount with local garden centres.

For more information please contact the secretary Tina Litchfield 01730 816542.

You don’t need to have an allotment to be a member of the Allotment and Garden Society, but if you require information regarding allotment availability, please contact the Cowdray Estate Office on 01730 812423.
