The Green Volunteers are back in the village again this coming Saturday, 27th March – this time working from Egmont Road, south along Dodsley Lane clearing the paths heading towards the Midhurst roundabout.
Last week the team carried out a massive cut back and tidy up of the path north from Egmont Road, heading to the pedestrian crossing – over 2 tonnes of waste was cleared and with only 10 volunteers – AMAZING!
As always, volunteers will be given tasks that enable social distancing to be followed, please bring your own gloves but all other equipment will be provided. For this session we will be meeting on the corner of Egmont Road and Dodsley Lane from 8am on Saturday. The session will usually finish by 10.30am.
Please come along and lend a hand if you can.. many hands make light work.. but if you can’t lend a hand then the team always appreciate a cheerful hello and maybe a cake at the end of the session!
