Friends of Easebourne Park is launched!

Easebourne Park Needs YOU!

Easebourne Parish Council has agreed to the formation of a volunteer organisation to be called the “Friends of Easebourne Park” (FrEP).  This group has been created with 3-fold aims:

  1. To fundraise on behalf of Easebourne Park.
  2. To seek volunteers willing to join FrEP and work to support and develop the Park.
  3. To gather input from local people and representative groups so that the Park may best serve the local community.

All funds raised to be exclusively spent on the Park by FrEP. A FrEP constitution has been created and this requires 4/5 committee members as follows: Chairman; Vice Chairman (to be a EPC councillor); Treasurer, and finally; Secretary/Membership Secretary (could be split). It is really hoped that Easebourne Parishioners will volunteer to fill these committee posts.  The work involved will be slight and the FrEP committee is to meet 4 times a year.

However, if you do not wish to serve on the FrEP committee, but would wish to indicate your support for the Park and would like to be involved in its future development, just join and become a member of FrEP.  Membership is free to all Easebourne Parishioners.

To volunteer for a committee post, see a copy of the FrEP Constitution, or to simply become a member of FrEP, please contact the Parish Clerk on Parishclerk@easebourne.org or call 07342 166 188

Let’s keep developing this wonderful community space and play park together
